Ringzabal is a lovely place with lush green woodlands and magical meadows that is a heavenly retreat

Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, the deputy commissioner of Budgam, designated “Zoogu- Khairan” Village as the district of Budgam’s first tourism village in November 2021.
At the junction point of the Budgam forest division and the Pir Panjal mountain range are the lush, emerald Ringzabal meadows.
Shepherd communities, predominantly from Ringzabal, Kharian, and Zugoo villages in Khansahib tehsil of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, reside in some of the pastures. They graze their sheep there. They reside in mud and wood houses from the month of May until the end of September each year. The area has a great deal of potential to draw tourists for hiking and other tourism-related activities.
Tourists and visitors could come here for trekking if the administration could step in, as this is one of the amazing spots surrounded by meadows at both high and low altitudes, which adds to the attraction of this location.
The Ringzabal meadows are bordered by mountains, low-lying streams, and rich greenery, which adds to the area’s charm. Other locations at both high and low elevations still need to be discovered.
“Zoogu-Khariran” in the Khansaib tehsil has already been proclaimed the first tourist village of the Budgam district in November 2021 by Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, the deputy commissioner of Budgam, according to tourism officer in Budgam Azad Yaseen. The tourist map has already been updated to include this location.
In order to provide homestay services and amenities to tourists and visitors in this tourist hamlet, he stated, “We have already informed the local residents from Zoogu, Kharian, and Ringzabal villages to register themselves with the tourism department.”
The community of Ringzabal had a lot of promise for ecotourism, but it needs to be promoted so that people will visit, especially during the summer. If tourists come here, it will also provide a source of money for the locals who reside in the surrounding Khansahib tehsil.
Iqrar Ahmad, a resident of Beerwah, walked from Ringzabal Kharian to Tosa Madain to investigate the fascinating location.
